Another milestone

Another U.S. soldier was killed on Friday when a bomb exploded under his vehicle in a convoy west of Baghdad, the Pentagon said.

The number of American troops killed in combat in Iraq is now 148, one higher than during the first Persian Gulf War a decade ago.
