Friday, October 08, 2004Playing politics with IraqU.S. military and civilian officials have identified 20 to 30 towns and cities in Iraq that must be pacified before nationwide elections can be held in January, The New York Times reported Friday. So this new plan isn't really designed to quell terrorist uprisings, engender free elections in Iraq or spare the lives of our soldiers, but rather ("in part") to counter criticism from challenger John Kerry. This is also known as helping get Bush re-elected. Is everything politics with these people? Aaarrrrggghh! They make my head hurt.
